Joe's new cd is out
Joe's first solo classical album, In The Middle, was recorded in the summer of 2024. It contains only the middle movements of well-known concertos and sonatas written for the trumpet. Lyrical pieces by composers Böhme, Desenclos, Ewazen, Hansen, Larsson, Neruda, Peeters, Tartini, Whitney, and Vizzutti.

Joe Bodiford has a Master's Degree in Trumpet Performace, and was the winner of the 1992 National Trumpet Competition. Joe is at home in both classical and jazz settings. He has played with the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra, the Tampa Bay Symphony, the Dade City Orchestra (principal), the Mostly Pops Orchestra, and the Big Bend Community Orchestra. He is currently the lead trumpet and soloist for the TCC Jazz Band and in the section of the Tallahassee Winds.
